Chaos has a very rough start (and a boring campaign in ME), greenskins feel too weak (at least to me) and force the player to constantly be on the offensive (which the game punishes) and the skaven at times feel like playing a different game entirely. Regarding the race, all I can say is DO NOT start with chaos, greenskins or the skaven. Building up your economy and provinces may seem boring but it allows you play the battles with (Mostly) the units you want to use whenever you want.Īs for the campaign, Mortal Empires, definitely others have told you why. A lot of friends I introduced for their first time would just Expand -> Expand -> Expand, wonder why they only had 1k income a turn with a bunch of trash armies and all their public order was falling apart. Do the initial quick expansion for a province or two, then wait and spend all your money on economy -> Expand -> Consolidate -> Expand -> Consolidate.
There's nothing wrong with playing easy if that's what you want to do but try normal out first before you move down to easy is all I suggest.Īs for what factions: Lothern is a nice one, Dwarves in-battle are easy but their campaign might seem a bit hectic at times thanks to Orcs dogpiling you.Īlso as for campaign the best tip is the ol' Turtle style.
Or you have a disability that just prevents you from playing quickly enough.Įven in normal you can still pause battles and all the other junk you might just pick up bad habits on easy that don't translate well into normal or even into Hard/VH. I would also suggest just sticking at normal unless you're brand new to Real Time Battles or Turn Based Strategy in general.
